Pre-K through Grade 8

The Office of Faith Formation is eager to get our 2022-23 school year started this fall for your child(ren)! We will be offering the same time options for Faith Formation classes, as follows. 

• 4:00 to 5:00pm (grades 2 through 6) on Wednesdays
• 5:30 to 6:30pm (grades 2 through 6) on Wednesdays
• 6:45 to 8:15pm (grades 7 and 8) on Wednesdays

Additionally, we will continue offering our Level 1 Atrium for children in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). This Level 1 Atrium will be an option for children ages 3 years old (and fully potty trained) through 5 year old Kindergartners. New this year is a Level 2 Atrium, to meet the needs of all children in grade 1. • Registration: open online beginning Monday, August 1 at 9:00am! Please register your child(ren) by Friday, August 19 for our office’s planning purposes, though we will accept registrations up to Wednesday, August 31.
• Cost is $100 per student. We are using Faith Direct for our online registration this year, which allows you to make your secure payment online via credit card, debit card, or your checking account!
  • If you are interested in serving as a catechist this year for grades 2-7, let Rachel or Deb know. The fee is waived for parent catechists.
  • There is a small amount of scholarship funds available; if you would like some assistance in making the payment for registering your child(ren), please contact Deb and she will share a tailored code with you for the online registration form.
• Ice Cream Sundae Bar Social + Meet ‘n Greet will take place on Wednesday, August 31 at 6:30pm. Families are invited to an ice cream social outside and to “meet ‘n greet” their catechist and locate their classroom for the year.
  • Additionally, at least one parent of students in sacramental years (i.e. 2^nd grade for First Reconciliation and First Communion and 8^th grade for Confirmation) are asked to stay for a brief meeting with Fr. Ehli in the main body of the church beginning at 7:00pm.
• Regular Faith Formation classes will begin on Wednesday, September 7. Details about the schedule for the Level 1 and 2 Atrium children will be communicated to those parents.
