Readers proclaim the Word of God clearly and understandably so that all who hear may respond.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
These lay people are sometimes referred to as Eucharistic Ministers. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve by assisting the priest in distributing the Eucharist at Mass, and by bringing Holy Communion to parishioners who reside in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or in their own homes and unable to get to church.
Ministers of Hospitality
Being a welcoming community is very important to us. Ministers of Hospitality are the first face of the parish. They greet those coming into our church, offer assistance to those in need, distribute parish bulletins, take up the collection, and distribute other materials as needed.
Ministers of Hospitality for Funerals
Help with hospitality for funerals on an as-needed basis.
This ministry provides members of the parish with a true opportunity to function as lay ministers by reverently assisting the celebrant and/or deacon during Sunday Mass and at special liturgies throughout the year. Boys and girls in grades 6, 7, 8 and high school may volunteer in this ministry.
Transportation to Mass
This ministry provides transportation to Mass and/or parish events.
This committee assists in implementing the liturgical environment in the church each liturgical season. Please contact Shana Klee at 223-1033 if you are interested in the environment committee.
